Pace of Play

Golf is a wonderful game and most fourballs should be able to play a round at Tapton in approximately 4 hours.
The R&A encourage us all to play READY GOLF in an attempt to speed up the pace of play. (does not apply during matchplay)

1. Play ready golf - you can play out of turn if it safe to do so.
2. Keep up with the group in front and encourage speeding up pace of play.
3. Let groups behind you play through if you fall behind.
4. Be ready to play when it is your turn.
5. Leave the green and mark your card on the next tee box.
6. Watch where others in your group hit their ball and help them find it when necessary
(3 minutes allowed).
7. Know when to pick up your golf ball, i.e. when you can't score.
8. Watch the time and be mindful of how long your round is taking.
